Piper-Heidsieck is known for being somewhat "eccentric". In 2007, Viktor & Rolf, the Dutch designers well-known for turning things upside down lent their unique abilities to Rémy Cointreau's Champagne house Piper Heidsieck to create Viktor & Rolf Rosé Sauvage. In true V&R style, the champagne bottle's bottom becomes its top, and its back becomes the front. The accompanying ice bucket and champagne flutes share a similar illusion, with the flute turning upside down into a cocktail glass.

From what I have previewed, it appears the UK ladies have several very popular styles that rarely get marked down like Mad Mary studded pumps and Catwoman 120 T-Strap stilettos. Not that those of us on this side of the pond are being shortchanged, the US offerings include the modern cult classic Rolando in natural python and the sexy gladiator inspired Neuron 100 sandals in bright fuschia.

From afar, it appears these could be sandals or cutouts with large gaping openings, however closer inspection reveals translucent nude mesh lining with subtle gold piping. These boots are beautiful on their own, but on the foot they are nothing short of stunning. A bold, chic juxtaposition of an organic/leaf motif with a sexy, sultry gladiator inspired styling only Christian Louboutin can imagine, this shoe is not only called Circus, it is likely to incite one.

The sandal itself is made of fabric with zipper accents throughout and is lined in pink leather. It has a pink leather buckle closure on the ankle strap and a covered pink leather 4 3/4 inch heel. The 1 inch platform is covered in fabric with a zipper across the plattform, and of coarse his signature red sole.

Christian Louboutin created this shoe exclusively to benefit Footcandy's support of the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation, which help rescue elephants from the streets of Thailand. You can read more about the rescued elephants at www.elerescue.org. All proceeds from the sale of these shoes will be donated to the GTAEF to support the elephants and the families who care for them. Available styles are dynamic, meaning they can change year to year, as are materials (some of which are very limited). There is a premium for these (30%) and they take time, especially during the Summer (no work during the month of AUGUST). Usually it's about 2-months, but it also depends on the backlog and may take up to 4-months. Special Order's must also be approved by Paris (can take 2-weeks).

Payment - If you are not a current customer you may have to pay the 30% upfront as a deposit, or possibly the entire amount. Otherwise they will charge you when the shoes are ready to be shipped from Paris.
